Have you ever thought about buying an original painting, drawing or print. If you have but were put off by - first the price tag and second wondering how to make up your mind as to whether you could live with it. Then I have a suggestion for you.
Have you ever heard of Art Rental? It is a program where you can rent original art at Two Rivers Gallery. There is a variety of paintings, prints and drawings by over 20 regional artists.
The monthly rental fee is determined from the retail value of the art. $500 value would rent for $14 per month. All of the artwork in the rental program is ‘for sale or rent’ and if you’re thinking about new artwork for you house or business come down to the gallery to check it out.
The advantages of renting artwork are #1 - you can change your mind #2 - you can rent a piece for a few months or so to see if you can live with it. If you DO decide to buy the work the first 3 months of rent you paid will go toward the purchase price. The best bit is you don’t have to buy it - There is no limit to how long you can rent artwork and the minimum rental is 1 month.
