Studio Programs for Preschoolers, Children and Youth

During our studio programs, instructors work with young people of differing ages and abilities to encourage creative expression and help develop their personal style. Students will learn new techniques and experiment with a wide range of media and ideas. Materials and snack are provided.

Two Rivers Gallery Members receive a 10% discount on all classes and workshops. GST is charged on all programs.

Refund policy: Payment is required to hold a spot in each class. If you cancel more than 48 hours prior to the start of first class, you receive a full refund. Cancellations after this time are subject to a $20 administration fee and the cost of any classes taken and materials used. We will not issue refunds after the second class.

 

Picasso's Playgroup  Facilitator: Erin Crandall

Ages 2-4 & Caregivers (limit of 10 children)

Join us for fun at the Gallery. Paint, glue, print, build. you will have a
great time creating together.  Each week you will make 3 or 4 art projects, take part in circle time with songs and stories and have free time to play in the WildSide.   8 sessions

Preschool Art - Facilitator: Natalie Beck

Ages 3 and 4  Saturdays:  September 27 - November 15   8 sessions, 10 -11:30 AM
Join Early Childhood Educator Natalie Beck for a perfect introduction to a
group class that your 3 and 4 year olds attend on their own. Explore lots of
different media and make cool art projects to take home and show off to your
family.

Art Explosion - Facilitator: Janice Parker
Ages 5 and 6
Saturdays: September 27 - November 15
8 sessions, 10:00 am -12:00 noon
Here is your chance to get messy! Dive right into a collection of exciting
art projects where you will experiment with painting, sculpture and collage.
Fee: $96

Imagination League - Facilitator: Amber Kronebusch
Ages 7 and 8
Saturdays: September 27 - November 15
8 sessions, 10:00 am - 12:00 noon
Enroll in the "Imagination League" and get ready for an art adventure. Draw,
paint, print and mould your ideas into works of art.

Gallery Gang - Facilitator: Lyssa Blackman
Ages 9 - 12
Saturdays: January 26 - March 15 -
8 sessions, 10:00 am -12:00 noon
The Gallery Gang is for you older kids who know you want to make your own
masterpieces.
Spend time developing your drawing, creating mixed media works of art,
painting on canvas and working on projects that carry over from week to week.
Fee: $96

Learning to Draw with Manga - Facilitator: Michelle Milburn
Ages 12-18
Thursdays: September 25 - November 13
8 sessions, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
This class is for those of you who love to draw. Try your hand at life
drawing, play with focus and negative space and tune up your techniques with
exercises, all with a "manga" twist.
Fee: $96
