This program was created as an outreach to children and youth requiring extended care in the hospital. An experienced Gallery educator, volunteers and local artists lead the Art Heals program offering a creative outlet and welcome distraction from their illness and separation from loved ones. Participants create works of art while learning about artists and art history. During the process, they also discover more about themselves.
