Selected works from the Permanent Collection |
|
The Two Rivers Gallery Permanent Collection predominantly features work from Western Canada produced over the last thirty years. Most of the work stems from generous donations by artists and collectors, for which we are very grateful.
The current selection of work explores different approaches towards land use. In the case of George Angliss's Early Morning Run a speedboat skims across a lake; John MacDonald's Untitled (Canfor), addresses a contrasting approach towards land use in an iconic painting of the mill; work by Patricia Paddington and Roz Marshall focus on more personal reflections around home. This eclectic exhibit features other work by Alessandra Bitelli, John Koerner, Keith Mitchell, Joan MacGregor, Marc Lacaille, E. Nancy Stevens, Margeretha Bootsma, Marie Nagel and Thyra Warburg. The exhibit will run until July 10, 2005.
