MakerLab 2RG is a gathering point where both new and experienced makers can connect to work on real and personally meaningful projects, a place to access new technologies as well as traditional tools. It is a working space for people who may not have their own. It’s a sounding board, a meeting place, a learning space, and a place to hang. We call it a lab because we hope you'll experiment with your creativity, learn new skills, and be inspired by what other makers are creating, both in our own community and worldwide.
MakerLab 2RG offers you space, tools and equipment, guidance, mentorship and support, and is a place for people who may self-identify as crafters, coders, artists, fabricators, educators, scientists, geeks, foodies, gardeners, or something else altogether; what everyone shares is a strong belief in the do-it-yourself ethic and a passion for making things, no matter the medium to get there. With an interdisciplinary approach, instead of focusing only on the end result, just as important is the process of making itself; the community of makers and the environment of creativity, innovation, and curiosity.
We want to know what you think! Join our online communities to get involved and keep informed by 'liking' us on Facebook.
