Working on a knitting project? Bring it! Love to draw? Meet others who do too! Want to help build a 'photon torpedo'? MakerLab is the place to be!
MakerLab is a multi-disciplinary community space stocked with tools, technology, materials and mentors. Every week, we offer a new activity to try. Or, bring a project from home. Bounce ideas off other creative people!
Cool tools include a Tinkerine 3D printer, Epilog Laser Cutter/Engraver, silversmithing tools, sewing machine, as well as an ever-growing variety of general purpose tools. Please note that ages 13 and under must be accompanied by a guardian.
Wondering what MakerLab is all about? Come see for yourself! It's completely FREE to join in, when you bring your own materials. If you want to use the gallery's materials, the drop-in fee is $5.25.
MakerLab is open every Thursday from 5-9. See you there!
We have recently launched two new programs: Make to Give and Repair Cafe! The first Thursday of the month, our MakerLab mentors will lead participants in a craft project that benefits a local community organization. They'll also help you fix your old stuff, to save it from the landfill! Follow the link to learn more.
